When a permit changes the answer

Not applicable (no state exemption to void). Permits are local; CIB does not issue permits. Where a city/town has not adopted a state-recognized code, requires no permits, or has no inspector, plumbing/electrical/mechanical work must be reported to CIB via the Notification of Work Without Permit form.
